This is the second album advert that I looked at. This is a lot more brighter and busier than the first, it has a lot more going on in the background which in my opinion works a lot less as your attention is drawn away from the information that needs to be put across. By having the artist as the focal point again creates the gaze theory and also fans would automatically be attracted to it. The artists name is placed in the top right hand side of the page, this is in a bright colour which is pulling it out of the background also the font is different from everything else on the advert which would draw your attention to it. The album artwork itself is placed underneath the title of the album which would give the audience a look at the artwork. The release date is in a font that is easily readable and stands out from the back ground. Overall this is my least favourite album advert that I have looked at as I think that there is to much going on and it pulls you away from the general advertising of the album itself.
This is the last magazine advert that I looked at, through looking at this I have outline a few factors that I need to undertake in making my own magazine advert. The biggest focal point is the photograph of the artist, this would create the gaze theory as the eye attention is straight away focused on her. With the writing overlapping this adds to the effect, by having the font completely different from the rest makes it stand out which support the photograph by it being the artists name. The golden colour of the font makes it bold and very eye catching. The name of the album is placed underneath this overlapping the bold writing, they have put this is white writing which then makes it stand out above the golden writing and also the black back ground. For all the information about the album they have placed it on a black background which I think works really well as it makes the information stand out against it. By having names of well known number one hits on the advert showing they are on the album will bring in an audience that like them songs as they would want to her the rest of her work. Overall I think this advert has a strong house style which is kept consistent and shows a clear advertisement for the album.
