Proposal

Our piece is based around the song 'Need U' by Duke DuMont of which is categorised under the dance genre. Our narrative follows an average guy whose life is draining and repetitive, filled with work and responsibility. Within this piece we intend to convey his life as unlucky and boring, during an everyday journey to work, he sees a world of fun and excitement which he craves. However he finds this overwhelming and strange. People begin to dance along with the song that the character is listening to, in his earphones. A swarm of a person join in the dance throughout which confuses and frustrates him. We want to create a sense of an alternate world in which people do not conform they are spontaneous. This alternate world represents what the character craves, in comparison to his tedious life.
