Research: Institution

As a group we looked at many music institutions such as; Universal, Sony Music, Warner Music Group and EMI. When looking into the research of this we found that Sony Music would be the best institution to publish our promotional pack for our album as when looking into this we noticed that Sony produce a lot of the same style music as we are looking at. SM are connected with artists that are within the dance genre. Therefore we came to the conclusion that Sony would be the best institution for us to go with. Also by bring a new style into the company it will boost sales and also bring in new fans of the company which will help with promotion and advertising. With Sony being the second biggest record company in the world it will also have a great representation behind it which again help with sales and promotion of its products.
