Planning: Style Guide

.
As a group we needed to decide what font Duke Dumont' the DJs name would be in. However when we were experimenting with fonts we wanted something that would be eye catching and interesting. The typeface for this album name would be the same throughout' to create consistency and a professional look to our promotional package. However there will be different elements and effects done on the DJs name to the album name to make them separate. Below are the fonts we researched and tried out:
We then as a group narrowed it down to two different fonts that we thought stood out best and reflected the genre the most. These fonts were 'Impact' and 'Gill Sands MT.' We decided to see how the font would look together with the album name but in a smaller font, for when we used it on the advertisement magazine , it was clear that Impact was the most eye catching and effective.

Colours
We decided to stick with bright colours such as pinks and yellows, to make the writing stand out and be eye catching so it would easily catch the readers and audience’s attention and would also fit in with the dance genre.

Logo
We have also decided that we want to have the logo placed in all of the promotional pack as we feel that this would make it look more official and professional.
